Trump Supporter Weeps In Viral Video, Explains Trump’s Incredible Effect On Black Community

Since even before he was elected, the left has tried desperately to paint Donald Trump as a racist who is bad for minorities. But they just don’t seem to be able to get the accusation to stick.

First, countless photos of Trump with well-known black civil rights advocates like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson surfaced, making it clear that the baseless “racist” claims started only after he came out as Republican.

Jackson even went out of his way to praise Trump’s efforts to assist the black community in a 1999 video that Democrats would no doubt like to see buried.

Now, a cultural shift within black America is sending anti-Trump liberals into panic mode. For instance, the fiery — and smart — conservative Candace Owens has called on other black voters to re-think their dependence on liberalism, and even rapper Kanye West has voiced his growing support for the president.

On Friday, a lesser known but equally important black voice spoke up in support of Trump, and his heartfelt response to the direction of the country is going viral.

In a Twitter post that has received a quarter-million views and over 28,000 “likes” as of Sunday, Henry Davis became emotional as he described the jobs and opportunities that are changing black lives under the Trump administration.

“I’m just crying because I’m just … I’m like, it’s a good time to be alive,” he said in the video.

“And to be able to witness what’s really going on. And we got a chance — I’m just talking about from a black perspective,” he said, referring to economic opportunities. “If you really want to work and get up off your a** and do something, you can do it.”

Davis did not shy away from directly crediting the president with positive changes in the country.

“Black people working — you know what I’m saying — jobs [are] coming back, factories [are] opening up. He helping with the drug epidemic and all of that,” Davis said.

Referencing Trump’s previous visit to a FoxConn manufacturing facility in Wisconsin where a working mother of three named Celia Griffin spoke, Davis spoke highly of the president and seemed to completely contradict the leftist narrative about Trump.

“He had this black lady come up there and give a little speech about how her life has changed because of some of his accomplishments … and I’m just so proud, I’m just proud to be an American,” he said.

The passionate video blogger indicated that he still respected former President Barack Obama, but that Trump’s results speak for themselves.

“And again, Barack Obama, I respected the office. I respected the fact that he was the president, but ain’t nobody like Trump, man,” he said. “If you want to work, [there’s] jobs out here.”

That’s a powerful endorsement, and one that Davis might be able to actually give the president in person. Dr. Darrell Scott, the president’s pastor, responded to the video with a hint that the man who recorded it may be getting a White House invitation in the future.

“I’m gonna take Henry to the White House one day very soon!” the reverend posted.

Davis is right: For all the whining and hand-wringing from the left, we are actually living in a time of great opportunity. This is especially true for Americans who are willing to work hard and find opportunities.

And that applies to every citizen, regardless of race.
