Trey Gowdy has done a great job calling out the FBI and the DOJ for their bias and corruption. He’s also called out Hillary Clinton and James Comey.
He’s become a fan favorite of many people. And now, some believe that he should be chosen to replace Justice Kennedy as the SCOTUS.
In January Gowdy announced that he would be retiring from congress. “Whatever skills I may have are better utilized in a courtroom than in Congress, and I enjoy our justice system more than our political system.
As I look back on my career, it is the jobs that both seek and reward fairness that are most rewarding,” wrote Gowdy.
In an interview with CNN’s Van Jones, Senator Scott, who just co-wrote a book with Trey Gowdy called “Unified: How Our Unlikely Friendship Gives Us Hope for a Divided Country,” announced that he would be recommending to Trump for Gowdy to serve on the Supreme Court.
“I’m going to recommend Trey Gowdy be one of the folks that I would have a strong recommendation for him serving on the Supreme Court. I hope that the President will be open to that recommendation,” said Scott. He called Gowdy “incredibly fair.”
“A guy who will call balls and strikes and not choose a side, even when he’s an elected member, at this time in our nation’s history that’s hard to find,” Scott said. Do you think Gowdy would be a good choice?
